About Chloe
What is your most memorable travel experience?
My fondest memories are of the places I ended up staying longer than planned, finding myself in rather random but wonderful jobs that allowed me to remain for long periods of time and really feel part of a place. I helped run a backpackers on an island with no running water or electricity in Cambodia, built a surf camp in remote Indonesia, worked as crew on a boat in the Whitsundays and trained horses in the Outback of Australia. I’m also a massive fan of walking up something to admire the view, whether that is Machu Picchu or Snowdon.
Which destination is next on your list?
It might not be quite next, but I would love to take my kids on a Safari once they are old enough. Nothing compares to seeing wildlife in their natural habitat, I could spend hours watching sealife, birds and animals of all shapes and sizes go about their business undisturbed. I would love to pass that gift to my children.
What is your favourite food and wine pairing?
I love cheese and wine almost as much as each other and more than most other things. There is nothing better than a varied cheeseboard with a really good Pinot Noir.
