What is your most memorable travel experience?

Originally I come from the countryside, so when I moved to London, a rural adventure was really calling my name. One of my most memorable experiences was travelling through Brazil and finding myself on an island called Ilhabela. There I was about to embark on a jungle trek with dirt roads, immense greenery and to the end of the line which took us to a gorgeous one specific secluded beach called Praia de Castelhanos, where we then took our adventure to the next step by boat where I saw a gigantic pod of dolphins.

Which destination is next on your list?

For as long as I can remember my main bucket list travel destination has been Japan. I’ve seen many mountains across the globe, one of my favourite collections being the Jungfrau region in Switzerland but there is nothing quite as striking to me as Mt Fuji. Of course, I am also a massive lover of Japan’s culinary scene, so I need to try some authentic shio ramen. I already have my full itinerary planned for when the time is right, from Uji where Japanese matcha comes from to Hiroshima for the history.

What is your favourite food and wine pairing?

I love a hearty ribeye steak when I’m craving some rich flavours, so I’ll usually pair that with a Cabernet Sauvignon. My favourite wine however is a little more on the unique side, a Viognier orange wine, which I’d typically pair it with a Korean BBQ with all the banchan!
