What is your most memorable travel experience?
I was fortunate enough to study in Tenerife for six months, during which time I perfected my Spanish, explored the island, and experienced the beauty of the Canary Islands for the first time. A hike in Teide National Park to see the volcano is a must-do activity. The natural beaches with black sand are incredible, and I even went snorkelling, where I saw turtles and dolphins in the south of the island. I also visited La Palma to observe the stars from the observatory, took a ferry to La Gomera to discover its magnificent landscapes, and explored the Cactus Garden and Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote.
Which destination is next on your list?
Madeira has captivated me for its rugged landscapes and stunning coastlines. I am eager to visit the famous “Mercado dos Lavradores” to try out the tropical produce and sample the local cuisine. The island is home to hidden waterfalls and natural pools that I would love to explore. The thought of sipping wine while watching the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean fills me with excitement and anticipation.
