About Regis
What is your most memorable travel experience?
I am very lucky to have been able to travel to different locations so far. But the one that stands out for me was my stay in Sevilla, Spain, during my Erasmus exchange. Discovering the city, from its historic streets to its amazing food culture, was unforgettable. My favourite spot is Plaza de España, especially whilst watching a flamenco performance.
Which destination is next on your list?
I would very much like to visit Tbilisi next. I’m particularly interested in discovering Georgia’s wine culture, as it is considered one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world.
What is your favourite food and wine pairing?
Sometimes on holidays in Biarritz visiting my grandparents, they would often, after a long Sunday lunch, have a glass of red Irouléguy with a slice of Ossau Iraty cheese. It is pretty much the best way to enjoy both, with a nice nap after.
