What is your most memorable travel experience?
I was amazed by the stunning beauty of the French Alps during a memorable weekend of hiking. Exploring the region, I had the pleasure of visiting a local farm where I indulged in delicious local cheeses and experienced delightful wine tastings. The allure of the French Alps has left a lasting impression on me, and I eagerly anticipate returning to this destination.
Which destination is next on your list?
For my love of wine, my next destination would be Bordeaux. I would love to take part in a wine harvest, to get the hands-on opportunity to engage with the winemaking process at its peak, picking grapes alongside experienced vineyard workers, learning about grape varieties, terroir, and the meticulous art of harvesting that influences the wine’s quality and flavour profile.
What is your favourite food and wine pairing?
My favourite food and wine pairing is a medium rare sirloin steak paired with a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, specifically Château Moulin Bellegrave.
