The SmoothRed story begins, somewhat unsurprisingly, with a passion for wine and travel.
Our founder, Adam Stebbings, comes from a family with deep roots in the wine industry dating back six generations. After taking part in a Bordeaux wine harvest in 1998, and 18 months on the road, seeking inspiration and fuelling his love of travel, he launched SmoothRed in 2004.
We evolved considerably over the next twenty years, responding to the needs and desires of our clients. From Bordeaux wine experiences to other classic wine destinations, thus quenching the desire of discerning travellers and wine aficionados looking to venture further off the beaten path.
