Gravetye Manor

Nestled within 35 acres of spectacular gardens deep in the Sussex countryside, Gravetye Manor is an exquisite country house hotel set in a 16th century Elizabethan manor.

The former home of celebrated Irish gardener William Robinson, who once owned the property and created its historic gardens, this Relais & Chateaux hotel boasts romantic rooms, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and warm and welcoming service.

Fusing old-world charm with modern luxuries, the 17 rooms and suites all feature superb views over the gardens. Named after trees that grow on the estate, each room has its own character though quirky period features, heavy floral drapes, antique furniture, and original paintings are present throughout, along with Nespresso machines and gardening books.  

With one Michelin star, The Dining Room serves a seasonal menu inspired by produce from the orchard, kitchen garden and foraged in the grounds. Food is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.  

Guests can wander through the beautiful gardens, join a garden tour, play a game of croquet on the lawn, or indulge in an in-room beauty treatment.
