Grand Barrail Château Hotel & Spa

Nestled amid the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, Grand Barrail Château Hotel & Spa is a majestic 19th century château complete with fairy-tale turrets and spires.

Surrounded by seven acres of parkland, this romantic property is the ideal place to experience the French art de vivre, with sumptuous guest rooms, gourmet cuisine, a pampering spa, and an excellent wine list.

Split between the main château and three annexes, the 46 rooms and suites have a stylish and warm feel with rich colours, and designer textures and fabrics. Blending period charm with modern comforts, most rooms have a balcony or terrace and all offer delightful views over the park and vineyards. Upgrade to a suite for abundant living space and a spacious terrace.

With a choice of three dining areas, the hotel’s gourmet restaurant serves a bistro menu at lunch and a creative French fine dining menu during the evening, accompanied by a superb selection of wines. Alternatively, head to the wine bar in the evening where you’ll find a selection of cold meats, cheeses and other nibbles to accompany the fine vintages.

Make a splash in the heated outdoor pool after a day of wine tours and tastings, indulge in a treatment in the relaxing spa, or unwind in the sauna, hammam or hot tub.
