Castelbrac

Carved into the cliffside of Dinard, Castelbrac is a five-star luxury hotel with exquisite views to Saint-Malo and out to sea.

Set in a 19th century Belle Époque villa, this waterfront hotel became a marine research station and an aquarium, before being transformed into a unique 25-room hotel with the ambiance of a grand seaside home.

The rooms and suites are spread throughout three different buildings, each with a slightly different feel. The hotel’s Art Deco vibe has been carefully preserved alongside bold prints, an ocean-inspired colour scheme, and a cool, contemporary aesthetic. All rooms have magnificent sea views, while some suites feature wrap-around terraces offering a front-row seat to superb sunrises and sunsets.

Set in the former National History Museum, the Pourquoi Pas restaurant spills out onto the terrace overlooking Saint-Malo, serving a Michelin-starred menu that specialises in seafood. Located in the former aquarium, the bar and lounge serves cocktails, pastries and a delicious afternoon tea.
