La Ferme Saint-Siméon

Set amid leafy apple trees with dramatic views over the Seine Estuary, La Ferme Saint-Siméon occupies a stunning location close to the old harbour of Honfleur.

This former 17th century apple farm and inn was a gathering place for Impressionist painters seeking inspiration and looking to escape city life. Today, this Relais & Chateaux property is known for its rustic charm, excellent restaurants, and on-site artist.

Spread over three buildings, the 34 rooms and suites are authentic, charming, and thick with history. Expect sloping and timbered ceilings, antique furniture, parquet flooring, a rich tonal palette, and minimalist bathrooms, with the styles varying between buildings. Two rooms in the deluxe category were frequented by Monet and Camille Corot, offering views that inspired these Impressionist artists.

Savour the flavours of Normandy in the two superb restaurants. The Impressionists serves up gastronomic fare that showcases the best produce from land and sea in front of a crackling fire in winter or on the terrace in summer. Bistro La Boucane offers simple and delicious cuisine in a bistro style, while the bar offers cocktails and afternoon tea.

The spa and aquatic complex is undergoing complete refurbishment, due to reopen during 2023. In the interim, enjoy an indulgent spa treatment in the rose garden treatment room, or take advantage of the hotel’s leisure offerings, including watercolour lessons, horse carriages rides and a classic car experience.
