Le Manoir des Impressionnistes

Brittany and Normandy

Set in an 18th century half-timbered farmhouse surrounded by pretty gardens and ancient woodland, Le Manoir des Impressionnistes sits atop a hill overlooking the mouth of the River Seine.

Named as a tribute to the Impressionist artists that used to paint here, this picturesque property boasts a stately and intimate atmosphere, and classical French style.

With superb views over the sea or gardens, the eleven rooms and suites have a rustic charm. Decorated in chic Normandy style, they feature polished wooden floors, oriental rugs, antique furniture, and spacious and modern bathrooms, while the first-floor Prestige room has a balcony with a sea view.

The hotel restaurant serves modern, regional cuisine, using seasonal ingredients from local markets and produce from Normandy’s land and sea, accompanied by an impressive wine list.

For some extra pampering, book the Spa Suite, which features a sauna, hammam, and an outdoor Jacuzzi with sea views.
