Hôtel Le Negresco

Standing proudly on the Promenade des Anglais facing the sparkling waters of the Baie des Anges, Hôtel Le Negresco is a landmark of Nice.

Housed in a Belle Époque palace topped with an iconic pink-domed roof, this historic building has hosted a who’s who of royalty, celebrities and politicians. With a world-class art collection spanning five centuries, a private beach, Michelin-starred dining, and a new spa set to open in 2023, it’s the place to stay in Nice.

Inspired by distant travels and remarkable periods of French art, the 128 rooms and suites are individually designed. Ranging from Louis XIII style complete with period furniture to contemporary décor with modern art, they’re often flamboyant in style with rich fabrics and bold colours. Sea view rooms are superb, while the suites are truly palatial.

The Michelin-starred Le Chantecler serves creative, contemporary cuisine with a focus on regional products complemented with an excellent wine list. Chef Virginie Basselot also oversees the brasserie-style La Rotonde, and the more casual beach restaurant.

Cross the Promenade des Anglais to claim your spot on the private beach, and enjoy a sophisticated tipple in the refined, wood-panelled bar. From autumn 2023, guests will be able to enjoy the new spa.
