Le Manoir Les Minimes

Located on the banks of the Loire in the shadow of the Château d’Amboise, Hotel Le Manoir Les Minimes is set in a restored 18th century manor house built on the foundations of a medieval convent.

Contained within a walled courtyard, the elegant hotel has the feel of a sophisticated family home, while its exterior walls are resplendent in wisteria during the spring and early summer.

The 16 rooms and suites are divided between the original manor house and the more modern pavilion. The elegant, comfortable rooms have a vintage feel with rich fabrics, gilt-edged mirrors, a muted colour scheme, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The best rooms have views of the neighbouring chateau, while those in the pavilion have a lovely view of the main house.

While there’s no restaurant on site, guests can choose between a buffet breakfast in the salon and a continental breakfast in their room to start the day. Les Minimes Gourmets is a grocery-bistro area with local produce and wines that guests can enjoy in the dining room or on the terrace, while the bar offers a great spot for pre or post dinner drinks. The ever-helpful concierge takes care of restaurant recommendations and bookings.
