An icon of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Hotel Lutetia is the only palace hotel on Paris’s Left Bank.

Originally opened in 1910, the hotel reopened in 2018 following a four-year renovation, restoring Art Nouveau and Art Deco features alongside contemporary comforts, and replacing the ceiling of a central salon with a glass roof to create a light-filled interior courtyard.

Some of the 184 rooms and suites face Boulevard Raspail and Rue de Sèvre, with those on the higher floors offering views over the Left Bank to the Eiffel Tower, while others face the inner courtyard. For an extra-special treat, choose one of the eight one-of-a-kind suites, some with 360º views from their rooftop terrace.

Diners can choose between traditional French dishes with a creative twist at Brasserie Lutetia, while Le Saint-Germain offers contemporary French cuisine with subtle international influences. There are also two bars including Bar Josephine, which serves a selection of unique cocktails with light snacks.

Unwind in the marble-decked subterranean spa, which features an indoor pool, a Jacuzzi, a hamman and a sauna, and offers an assortment of blissful spa treatments.
