Portugal Wine Tours
Portugal has long been a popular tourist destination for Brits seeking a “fly and flop” break and a healthy dose of sunshine but, for many, not a lot else. However, more and more tourists from the UK and the rest of the world are visiting Portugal’s biggest two cities, Lisbon and Porto, and the surrounding wine regions.
Oenophiles will no doubt be aware of the country’s most famous wines: the unique Port and Madeira. However, Portugal has much more to offer than these fortified favourites and increasingly wine-lovers associate the Iberian nation with smooth, fruity reds that offer unbeatable value.
Our Portugal Wine Tour Destinations
Portugal has so much to offer aside from wine, with a wonderful climate, some of the best seafood you can eat, amazing, often wildly rugged beaches, 15 UNESCO World Heritage sites and a plethora of charming small towns and villages.
If you’re planning a Portuguese wine holiday we have divided our trips into two broad areas, those that use Porto as a base and those that focus on the capital, Lisbon, and the vineyards to the north and east.
