The Vintage House Hotel

Nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley in the pretty town of Pinhão, The Vintage House is a luxury wine hotel set in an 18th century former wine lodge.

Occupying a tranquil riverside setting surrounded by hills and mountains carpeted with vines, this elegant hotel is bursting with traditional character while its outdoor pool and popular restaurant ensure it’s a great base for exploring the region.

All 47 rooms and suites face the River Douro, ensuring that guests can enjoy sunlit rooms and savour gorgeous sunsets while relaxing on their balconies. Decorated in classic style with blues and yellows the prominent colours, rooms feature textured wallpaper and patterned drapes, with ornate tiled bathrooms. The four Master Suites are more contemporary in style, and feature a lounge area with dining table.

The Rabelo Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant celebrating regional and traditional Portuguese cuisine, complemented with a superb, and mostly local, wine menu. Open all day, the Library Bar serves light bites and has a great wine and cocktail list.
