Set in a 19th century townhouse in the heart of Bordeaux, Le Palais Gallien is a five-star hotel named in homage to the ruins of the Roman amphitheatre, which lie a few metres away. The 27 rooms and suites range from boutique 25m2 rooms with walk-in showers to palatial 60m2 suites with freestanding bathtubs and private terraces equipped with Jacuzzis. Rooms are individually designed, blending contemporary design with vintage chic to cocoon visitors in a haven of relaxation and luxury.
Overseen by chef Younesse Bouakkaoui, La Table de Montaigne is a gastronomic delight serving creative interpretations of French classics based on local, seasonal produce. There’s also a stylish bar where guests can sample creative cocktails or choose from an impressive selection of wines and spirits.
