A relative newcomer to the Bordeaux hotel scene, Hotel Villas Foch opened in June 2021 in a restored 19th century stone building in the heart of Bordeaux’s prestigious Golden Triangle district. This five-star boutique hotel beautifully blends its neoclassical heritage with contemporary design and first-class facilities to offer a luxurious and sophisticated stay.
With just 20 rooms and suites, the hotel has an intimate feel. Rooms are cosy and elegant with high ceilings, parquet floors, subtle colour schemes, and a blend of vintage and contemporary furniture. The suites offer additional living space and heaps of old world charm – L’Atelier resembles a romantic artist’s studio beneath the eaves, while spacious Suite Foch feels almost palatial.
There’s no restaurant per se, though breakfast is provided and Le Ferdinand Bar has an extensive list of wine, spirits and cocktails accompanied by light nibbles from the region.
There is however a delightful spa to wash away any stresses from your day. Slip into the indoor pool, cleanse your body with a sauna, or treat yourself to an in-room massage or beauty treatment.
