Day 1: Arrival in Lyon
On arrival in Lyon, relax with private transfers to take you to the hotel. You will be staying two nights in a luxury five-star spa hotel in the heart of Lyon, with breakfasts included.
In the afternoon, meet with your English-speaking guide to discover the narrow streets of the old part of Lyon where the secrets of this Renaissance area of the town will be revealed. Discover the Paul Bocuse Food Hall and stop in typical Lyonnais ‘Bouchons’ where you will eat different specialities and taste different wines – a great dinner experience!
Day 2: Full Day Food Experience in the Rhône Valley
Enjoy a full-day private food experience in the Rhône Valley. During the day you will discover local producers and various products of the area around Lyon. In the morning learn the processes behind the delicious Rigotte de Condrieu, an artisanal cheese named after the famous town of Condrieu, at a goat cheese farm.
Enjoy a second visit of the day at a farm and bakery, which cultivates wheat, rye and makes flour and leavened bread. Visit the mill and the bakery followed by a tasting of one of the delicious loaves at La Ferme des Bles d’Or Noel Lafertin Veranne. For lunch local products will be served at a traditional French restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the chef Philippe Bruneton, who specialises in jam production. Your guide will take you back in the late afternoon to the hotel.
Day 3: Explore Lyon Before Your Dinner Experience
Soak up the atmosphere of the third largest city in France, known as the food capital of France! Today is yours to explore this fantastic city.
In the evening relax with private transfers to your outstanding dinner experience. Your gourmet tasting menu will be served in the famous Paul Bocuse two-star Michelin restaurant outside of Lyon city centre. The menu will be paired with stunning wines from the region. This is a truly fantastic way to finish your gourmet trip!
Day 4: Enjoy Your Final Morning in Lyon
The morning at leisure, take one last dip in the hotel pool or enjoy a relaxing spa treatment in the luxurious spa. Enjoy your final lunch at the hotel (not included at this stage) and relax with private transfers to Lyon airport for your flight home.
