Trip details

Day 1

Relax with a private transfer on arrival to your four-star hotel in the centre of London. Enjoy a private tour inside Westminster Abbey, famous for coronations and royal weddings. The Abbey is one of Britain’s most important historic buildings, a royal church with tombs of kings and queens. See the coronation chair and the spectacular King Henry VII chapel.

Day 2

Meet with your guide at the Tate Museum and enjoy a private tour before with a personal guide. Stroll through aristocratic London, characterised by elegant squares, specialist shops, and smart restaurants. Before large department stores ladies and gentlemen had a tailor, a hatter, shoe maker, cheese-monger, wine merchant and so on.  These specialist stores can still be seen in the small streets of Mayfair and St James toda

Day 3

Sit back and relax with standard premier (first class) travel to Paris. Your local driver will pick you and and take you to your luxury 5-star hotel in Marais. Set on one of Paris’ oldest and most beautiful squares classic, white, 17th-century building, draped in ivy, a delightful haven, hidden behind a discreet entrance, on Place des Vosges. This is a secret world away from the bustle of the city with a pretty flower-filled courtyard, a relaxing lounge and recently opened spa – your home for the next two nights.

Day 4

Iconic lunch at La Tour d’Argent, the emblematic Parisian restaurant. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city of lights – perhaps enjoy a stroll along the Seine. Or, to satisfy a sweet tooth, cross the river and head to rue Montorgueil, the birthplace of the delectable Rum Baba.

Day 5

Relax by the pool before taking the train to your next destination where you will be picked up and chauffeured to a 5-star vinotherapy luxury Spa hotel in the vineyards of Bordeaux. Here you’ll begin to unwind straight away as you enjoy the views across the surrounding vineyards and maybe indulge in a spa treatment or two. But don’t get too confortable – in the afternoon it’s off for a Bordeaux wine tasting at a nearby world-famous château.

Day 6

After breakfast you’ll be chauffeur-driven to a Premier Grand Cru Classé Château in St Emilion and Pomerol to explore its cellars and winery before a morning wine tasting. Then for lunch you’ll visit a 2 star Michelin restaurant in the heart of St Emilion – to enjoy three delicious courses with accompanying wines, before making your way to another Grand Cru Classified Château in Pomerol for the final tasting of the day.

Day 7

The second wine tour of your holiday is devoted to the majestic Médoc. Along with your English-speaking guide you’ll follow the famous “route des châteaux”, stopping for tastings at a prestigious classified growth châteaux along the way. Lunch with accompanying wine is served at a restaurant in the heart of the Pauillac vineyards. Your tour and further tastings continue after lunch.

Day 8

The last day is yours to enjoy the numerous spa treatments on offer in your hotel, before heading back to the station in time for the journey home.
