Self Drive Holidays to France
As corporate events in France start to 
slow down for the summer, Smooth Red are delighted to hear positive feedback from their many private clients enjoying the delights of a French Wine Tasting Tour.
Recent feedback from one our clients sampling a self drive holiday to Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Loire Valley:
“The holiday was superb! We thoroughly enjoyed it, learned a lot and had a memorable time. I think the highlight was the day we spent with a chauffeur tour around Beaune. The guide was really interesting and had some great places to take us and introduce us to people, and obviously thoroughly enjoys the tours. That said, we also had a great time with C in Champagne as well and again learned an awful lot. The car certainly came back heavier than when we left! The only problem was that it was so hot we had to take the increasing amount of wine into our hotel room (except for Saumur where Mary very kindly allowed us to put it in her caveau)
All the hotels were great and in good locations, particularly the one in Reims, Margaux and in Chablis and we were so pleased that we got you to book the restaurants as there wasn’t one that we wouldn’t return to tomorrow. What was particularly enjoyable was the proximity of a tasting or tour close to the hotel on our arrival!
