Client Experience Coordinator

As Client Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operation of a client’s travel itinerary once they have chosen to travel with SmoothRed.

You will be responsible for all areas of the trip from the booking confirmation up until our clients return home and will be accountable for completing all operational tasks smoothly and seamlessly to ensure the best experience for the client.

This includes everything from overseeing the initial booking process to issuing the final itinerary on our bespoke travel app.

Role Responsibility:

  • Acting as a professional ambassador for the SmoothRed brand when liaising with all clients and suppliers.
  • Help develop strong relationships to ensure SmoothRed have an effective and functioning partnership with the very best suppliers for each experience.
  • Develop an effective information flow with the sales team.
  • Diligently checking all bookings for accuracy; this may require that you chase contacts for confirmations and check the finer details of all our travel experiences.
  • Ensuring our CRM is up to date with our suppliers’ details, client information, correctly sized images, etc.
  • Researching information about our destinations, e.g. restaurants, tourist activities, and iconic events for the calendar.

Your Personality:

  • Have a proactive, can-do attitude and be confident working closely across all departments, particularly with sales and accounts.
  • Strong written and spoken command of English is a must and a second European language is a bonus (but not required).
  • Have a keen interest in and knowledge of travel and hospitality sectors, and preferably wine.
  • Have a strong desire to get things perfect and be a natural organiser who can multitask with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to quick deadlines.
  • Excellent Excel and Office skills, as you will assist in managing various spreadsheets.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills; you’ll be using the phone, email and written correspondence on behalf of the company.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Be a team player! Happy to work under the guidance of members of the team and equally be given some autonomy to set up your own ways of working.

Travel Sales Specialist

SmoothRed requires an enthusiastic, sales-focused individual to join the team.  The ideal candidate will design and sell personalised, tailor-made trips to our discerning clients, providing exceptional service.  You will be responsible for driving and facilitating sales by providing a proactive, professional and efficient sale service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company recognized as one of the best in its field and to build and develop your own client list.

You will be creating bespoke, one of a kind travel personalized trips for our travellers. Speaking with them to understand their needs and using your first-hand knowledge and our network of contacts to create the best possible experience for them. You will also provide exceptional customer service before, during and after travel.

Package:

Salary will be based on experience with an excellent uncapped commission structure (28k to 30k DOE)

Your Personality:

  • Strong work ethic and sales driven.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Europe – France, Italy, Spain and Portugal are the core destinations.
  • Crafting detailed, accurate and bespoke itineraries, reflecting the client’s interests, and selecting the most appropriate flights, accommodation and experiences.
  • Good understanding of English language both oral and written.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a creative flair for designing unique and inspiring trips.
  • Passionate about delivering an outstanding level of service and willing to go the extra mile to make clients happy.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Able to prioritise tasks, manage workload and work to deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in a customer service or sales role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating and selling luxury bespoke tailor-made holidays to clients using our integrated marketing, sales, trip planning booking software and Client Travel App.
  • This involves consultation by email and telephone with the client and some administrative support of sales.
  • Following up on client feedback, and resolving any issues with suppliers and clients in a timely manner.
  • Engaging with clients to build a strong rapport and deliver excellent customer care before, during and after travel.
  • Working collaboratively with the Operations Teams to ensure all details are covered and clients have a seamless experience from start to finish.

You’ll be working in a team of young, hard-working and passionate travellers from a range of countries! There is the annual team trip abroad and weekly office Wine Fridays!

Office Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm in Vauxhall SE1 (3 days in office, 2 days WFH following successful probation). At SmoothRed you can expect the majority of your time to be worked between the hours of 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday, alongside one evening per week. In addition, you will be expected to work some weekends with corresponding days off during the week.
