A Fabulous wine tour in Rioja! We Recently came back from a fantastic weekend in Rioja wine tasting with SmoothRed. If you are considering a wine tasting experience, I can’t recommend this tour enough. I had no knowledge of the Rioja region and very little understanding of the wine. I was surprised and delighted to discover more about both. We visited completely contrasting wineries, each impressive, yet with their own unique wine making ethos and methods and consequently their own totally distinct wines. We had the pleasure of sampling some delicious Riojas, both reds and whites. The highlight of the tour was our visit to Viñedos del Ternero; such a beautiful, peaceful winery producing unanimously the best wine we tasted all weekend.
