Located in the heart of Provence’s Lubéron valley between the villages of Ménerbes and Bonnieux, La Bastide de Marie is an 18th century stone house that’s been reinvented as a chic and rustic farmhouse hotel. Nestled within 26 hectares of vineyard and surrounded by cypress and olive trees with the scent of lavender in the air, this offers a truly authentic Provençal experience.
With just 14 rooms and suites, the hotel has an intimate feel. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Provençal style with soft materials and colours, and a handpicked selection of antiques alongside contemporary furnishings. For a unique stay, choose the French ‘roulette’ caravan, or splurge on a private villa with its own swimming pool.
Guests can choose between breakfast-only and all meals provided options with meals enjoyed in the atmospheric dining room or on the outdoor terrace. Menus focus on local, seasonal produce, accompanied by wines from the estate. Afternoon tea is a delight with iced tea, pastries and cocktails keeping you sustained during lazy Provence afternoons.
