On arrival in Bordeaux city, check into a perfectly located hotel sitauted close to The Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. Later that afternoon you’re welcomed with a unique Bordeaux wine tasting experience at a unique restaurant in the heart of this beautiful city. Alongside a selection of French cheeses you’ll sample three local Cru Classés – the perfect start to your Bordeaux wine tasting trip.
The second day of your Bordeaux wine tasting trip is devoted to the majestic Médoc. Along with your English-speaking guide you’ll follow the famous Route des Châteaux, stopping for tastings at two prestigious classified growth châteaux along the way, as well as a wonderful 3 course lunch with accompanying wines.
Your Bordeaux wine tasting trip continues with a day of tours around the delightful village of St-Émilion and its surrounding vineyards. Throughout the day your guide will take you for tastings at two St-Émilion Grand Cru Classé Châteaux, as well as a tour to discover the fascinating history of St-Émilion itself where you will also enjoy traditional cuisine for lunch.
The last day is yours to explore beautiful Bordeaux. Boasting over 350 historical monuments, it’s easy to see why this UNESCO World Heritage sight is so beloved, and so memorable. Your private transfer will leave from the hotel late afternoon for your flight back to London Gatwick (please note hold luggage not included at this stage)
