Trip details

Day 1

Fly into Hungary’s romantic and historic capital Budapest on 7th September, this off the beaten track destination is one of our top destinations for 2017. Relax with private transfers to a luxurious spa hotel in the heart of Budapest. In the afternoon, enjoy an afternoon cheese and wine reception in the comfort of your accommodation.

Day 2

Unwind and enjoy a private morning wine tour. Visit the charming village of Etyek, full of excellent boutique wineries, and small family wineries which are set among the vineyards, renowned for producing mostly crisp white whites. In the afternoon, explore the Budapest international wine festival to taste award-winning Hungarian wines with over 200 wine distributors, concerts, food stalls, a harvest parade and a charity and trade wine auction.

Day 3

Enjoy a full day private chauffeured wine tasting tour in Eger. During the day you will be visiting two wine estates, with a superb lunch with accompanying wines. You will be tasting red wines such as the famous “bulls blood” and Pinot Noirs as well as other local varieties throughout the day and enjoy the festival that evening!

Day 4

On the final day, again take a final visit the Budapest international wine festival, before relaxing with private transfers to the airport, and flying home that evening.
