Day 1

Arrive in Sussex, one of England’s best kept secrets nestled between green rolling hills and the English Channel. Stay in a delightful historic hotel, Gravetye Manor, set in more than 1000 acres of tranquil English countryside.

Take an afternoon walk and enjoy a guided tour of a local vineyard and winery, a tutored tasting of award-winning wines paired with cheese. A wonderful way to start your English wine tour.

In the evening enjoy a magnificent Michelin-star meal. Your sumptuous four-course tasting menu will be served in a charming setting.

 

Day 2

Enjoy a full-day chauffeured English wine tour. Meet with your private guide after breakfast and discover a sprawling collection of rural towns and pretty villages set in pristine countryside. Start the day  visiting a beautiful family-run vineyard set amidst bluebell-strewn woods. An award-winning vineyard and winery in the heart of Sussex, on the edge of the Ashdown Forest.

Next up, a beautiful vineyard and winery which is nestled at the foot of the South Downs and discover three classic varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Unwind with lunch in a fabulous 19th-century pub, enjoying seasonal British and locally-sourced cuisine, paired with local wines.

In the afternoon, in the heart of rural Sussex visit the Bolney Wine Estate, one of England’s oldest and most beautiful vineyards. Discover the state-of-the-art winery, and then taste their award winning wines.

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast, a chance to take a stroll in the glorious gardens. An oasis of calm set over 35 acres of beautiful grounds. Originally created by visionary gardener William Robinson in 1885, they are now considered one of the most important historic gardens in England.

Why not visit Penshurst Place and Gardens, a beautiful historic estate. Surrounded by 11 acres of walled formal gardens and housing one of the few surviving medieval Baronial Halls in England, Penshurst Place is an historical gem in the Weald of Kent countryside.
