Trip details

Day 1

Upon arrival in Paris, you’ll be met by a private driver and transferred to the Champagne region. Check into your luxurious five-star hotel in Reims and unwind after your journey.

Savour an extraordinary start to your Champagne adventure with dinner at a three-Michelin-starred restaurant. You’ll experience the exclusive degustation menu, Emotion, accompanied by fine champagnes, including Champagne Krug Grande Cuvée, Krug Vintage and Krug Rosé.

Day 2

After breakfast, your private guide will collect you for a full-day tour around two prestigious Champagne Houses. Your day begins with an exclusive opportunity to visit the House of Krug, an experience only afforded to a select few. Discover Joseph Krug’s philosophy recorded in his iconic dark cherry notebook, explore the vast cellars, then round off this unique visit with an immersive champagne tasting paired with music.

After a champenoise lunch at one of our favourite spots in Reims, the day concludes with a tour of the oldest Champagne House, Champagne Ruinart. Discover the Maison’s heritage as you explore its UNESCO-listed chalk cellars, known as crayères, then sample three different champagnes including their new chardonnay cuvée.

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll leave Reims and travel into the vine-clad countryside to check into a five-star spa retreat with panoramic views over the Marne Valley.

Enjoy an afternoon at leisure, sampling a pampering treatment at the spa, unwinding around the infinity pool, or horse riding through the vines. Then embark on a culinary journey through the tasting menu of the Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, Le Royal.

Day 4

Today’s private guided tour introduces you to two icons of Champagne. First to the ‘cradle of champagne’, the village of Hautvillers where the monk Dom Pérignon created this renowned sparkling wine. Visit the abbey where he lived and worked, discover his fascinating story and pay your respects at his burial place, before an exclusive cellar visit and private tasting with a Dom Pérignon sommelier.

After a champenoise lunch in Épernay, delve into the celebrated world of Champagne Bollinger. Discover their family story, learn their unique wine-making process, visit one of the last remaining clos of Vieilles Vignes Françaises, and admire their historic cellars with over 4,000 barrels handmade on site, before a guided tasting of five champagnes.

Day 5

Your sparkling journey through the illustrious Champagne Houses and Michelin-starred restaurants of Champagne concludes today. You may have time to squeeze in one final spa treatment before beginning your homeward journey. Alternatively, ask us about extending your adventure south into the vineyards of Burgundy.
