Trip details

Day 1

Upon arrival in the Champagne region, you’ll check into your 4-star hotel, the Loisium Champagne. Perched on a scenic hill in Mutigny, this wine and spa hotel offers a luxurious stay amid the vineyards and forests of Champagne country.

Get your trip off to a sparkling start with a visit to the spa to enjoy the heated outdoor pool, sauna, hammam and solarium, and toast your adventures with champagne and nibbles while soaking up the view. Then head to one of the hotel’s exquisite restaurants to savour a meal of regional cuisine with a creative twist, complemented with fine local wine.

Day 2

After breakfast, your private wine guide will collect you for a day’s e-biking adventure. Admire the natural beauty and unique terroir of this wine region, as you glide with ease through Premier and Grand Cru villages, and cycle along the Marne Canal.

The tour includes a traditional champenoise lunch of local specialities and wines, and you’ll enjoy several stops for cellar tours and tastings – ensuring that you’ll feel suitably refreshed along the way!

Day 3

This morning’s adventure takes you to Epernay to discover the largest and grandest of Champagne Houses – Moët and Chandon for an exclusive Dom Pérignon experience with a private guide. You will explore some of the oldest areas of the cellars which are seldom visited by the public. Tasting of the latest white Dom Pérignon and Dom Pérignon Plénitude vintages in the Moët mansion.

You’ll have some free time after to indulge in lunch in Épernay – we can recommend restaurants or make a booking for you in advance. Then head back to the hotel for an afternoon of pampering in the hotel spa (treatments not included).

Day 4

After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to your luxury wine and spa adventure in Champagne, though you have time for a final dip in the pool or wander around the grounds before you pack up.

If you fancy a little history on your way home, stop off at Reims Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Or perhaps you wish to extend your exploration of French fine wines with a trip to Chablis – ask us for details and we can arrange a bespoke extension especially for you.
