Day 1

Relax with Standard premier Eurostar travel to France. Settle in to the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa. Nestled in amongst the sprawling vineyards of Champagne – somewhere between Epernay and Reims – is the magnificent Royal Champagne Hotel. Spread across a renovated 19th century Post House, the Royal Champagne offers all the tranquillity of the French countryside blended with the pomp and grandeur of the region’s finest Champagne houses and estates. Embark on a gastronomical  journey through the Chef ’s exquisite creations.

Day 2

Today is a full day private champagne tour. Your dedicated driver and wine guide will collect you from your hotel and you’ll set off to explore the  Côtes des Blancs and Grand Cru Village vineyards.  You will visit three Champagne estates today including the famous Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot estates as well as a smaller boutique property. Here you’ll meet the maker and be invited to explore their cellars, taste their wines and share their passion whilst you learn about the production process.

Discover the charming UNESCO village of Hautvillers and visit its famous church where Dom Pérignon used to live. Discover the Moët Imperial champagne, the flagship of the Maison with a comparative tasting of those two, including the current vintage.

Visit a 400 year old family estate in Champagne using a unique single vineyard approach offering boutique, handcrafted Champagne.

You’ll sample more than ten Champagnes throughout the day with a stop for a champagne tasting champenoise lunch during the day.

Day 3

The final day in the Capital of Champagne is yours to explore. Perhaps a visit to the gothic splendour of Notre Dame Cathedral, a final wander among the winding streets of Reims or simply relax while in the tranquil grounds of your hotel before returning home with first class rail travel.
