Trip details

Day 1

Arrive in Sussex and savour the beautiful surroundings. Stay in a luxury lodge overlooking the vineyards. With a two-person jacuzzi bath,  barrel sauna and private mountain bikes at your disposal, enjoy this unparalleled comfort in rural West Sussex.

Once settled, meet the winegrowers themselves. Walk into the vineyard and have a full tasting experience in the stunning tasting room overlooking the vines.

In the evening, relax with local transfers to an award-winning 16th-century pub and restaurant situated on the water’s edge, with spectacular views across Chichester Harbour.

 

Day 2

Enjoy a full-day chauffeured English wine tour. Meet with your private guide after breakfast and discover a sprawling collection of rural towns and quaint villages around West Sussex.

Start the day at a wonderful winery, now considered one of the premier wine producers in the South East offering a range of estate-grown still and sparkling wines which can compete anywhere in the world.

As the morning unfolds travelling into the South Downs National Park, taste an exciting array of white wines based on Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois and Bacchus grape varieties before concluding the tasting with sparkling Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Unwind with lunch in country pub situated by the River Arun and next to Stopham Bridge. This is one of the most picturesque pubs in West Sussex.

In the afternoon, visit a family estate nestled in the heart of the South Downs. This vineyard is dedicated to making magnificent English sparkling wine.

Next up is a beautiful vineyard and winery which is nestled at the foot of the South Downs where you’ll discover three classic varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

 

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll have a chance to take a stroll along West Wittering Beach or take the afternoon to explore Thorney Island. If you’re a history buff, we recommend visiting Chichester, where the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity dates back to Roman times and will reveal a treasure trove of historical and artistic artefacts.
